In the Sea of Japan, two ballistic missiles fire from North Korea.

 


It makes the US and Japan the first countries to detect such a test since Joe Biden became US president.


Pyongyang is prohibited from testing ballistic rockets, thought about compromising weapons, under UN Security Council goals. Both Japan and South Korea have censured the test. It comes only days after North Korea allegedly terminated two non-ballistic rockets into the Yellow Sea. Japan said no flotsam and jetsam had fallen inside its regional waters.
